Which ATS do well-known software companies use? (checked 2026-10-09)

The short answer

• Greenhouse: 44 of 100, including Anthropic, Stripe and Databricks.
• Ashby: 34 of 100, including OpenAI, Ramp, Notion and Cursor (Anysphere).
• Workday: 5 of 100 (Arctic Wolf, Postman, Automation Anywhere, Clio, BrowserStack).
• Other: 8 of 100 (Canva on SmartRecruiters, Rippling on its own ATS, Cyera, HiBob, VAST Data, Papaya Global and Claroty on Comeet, and NinjaOne on Jobvite).
• Lever: 0 of 100. Greenhouse vs Lever vs Ashby, among these companies, is a two-horse race.
• Not found: 9 of 100 had no public board on a supported ATS that we could confirm (see the method).

Together, the 85 boards with a public jobs feed listed 10,598 open jobs: 10,256 on 80 boards counted on 2026-10-09, plus 182 on the boards of Dialpad, Harness, EvenUp and Flock Safety, counted on 2026-10-10, plus 160 on Checkout.com’s board, counted on 2026-10-12.

ATS share across the Forbes Cloud 100

Every company, its ATS and open jobs

Ranked as on the 2025 list. The code is the company’s board name on that ATS (for Workday, the tenant). Open jobs are the count from the board’s public feed on 2026-10-09 (for Dialpad, Harness, EvenUp and Flock Safety, on 2026-10-10; for Checkout.com, on 2026-10-12).

Download the full table as CSV (100 rows, checked 2026-10-09; the rows for Dialpad, Harness, EvenUp, Flock Safety, Papaya Global and Claroty 2026-10-10, and the row for Checkout.com 2026-10-12). Columns: the company’s rank on the 2025 list, name, domain, ATS, board name, open jobs and the date checked. The 9 companies we couldn’t confirm have the ATS not found. They, and the six counted from their careers pages alone, have no board name or job count. For Workday, the board is the tenant, data center and site, separated by colons (for example clio:wd3:ClioCareerSite).

How we checked

• Sample: all 100 companies on the Forbes Cloud 100, 2025 edition, in list order, with no companies added or removed. Forbes chose the companies; the ATS lookups are ours, and Forbes has no part in them. Each was looked up by name and its main website.
• Method 1: the same lookup engine behind our Company Jobs Actor tried the company’s name and domain on every supported ATS except Rippling (which it never guesses), checked the board belongs to that company, and counted its open jobs.
• Method 2: separately, we called each vendor’s public jobs API directly (Greenhouse, Ashby, SmartRecruiters on 2026-10-09 only, Workday and Rippling; see the SmartRecruiters note below) and read the company’s own careers pages for links to a job board. Boards found only on a careers page were then read through both the engine and the vendor API. A company counts toward an ATS only when both methods agree, and job counts matched exactly on every board both methods read. The exceptions are Cyera, HiBob, VAST Data, Papaya Global and Claroty, whose careers pages embed Comeet, and NinjaOne, whose careers page links a Jobvite board. Our engine reads neither ATS, so these six count on the careers page alone and their job counts aren’t shown. EvenUp’s Ashby board, linked from its careers page, isn’t served by Ashby’s public job-board API, so our engine can’t read it either; we counted its postings two ways instead, from the data request its hosted jobs page makes and from the job list embedded in that page, and both gave 44.
• Not found: Deel, Grammarly, Cohesity, Zoho, Personio, Automattic, Hugging Face, Odoo, Dbt Labs. These companies may run an ATS with no public job feed, their own careers system, or a board we could not confirm on 2026-10-09. We count them as not found rather than guess. Three examples: Grammarly’s careers page links a Greenhouse board that returned 404 on the day; Hugging Face’s Workable board could not be re-checked on the day; and Personio has an Ashby board under its name, but on 2026-10-10 personio.com’s careers pages wouldn’t load for us, so we couldn’t confirm that the company links to it. None of the three is counted.
• Correction, 2026-10-10: the first version of this page listed Dialpad, Harness, EvenUp, Flock Safety, Papaya Global and Claroty as not found. Four careers pages link a board on an ATS we support: Greenhouse for Dialpad (dialpad) and Harness (harnessinc), Ashby for EvenUp (evenup) and Flock Safety (Flock Safety). Papaya Global’s and Claroty’s careers pages embed Comeet, which we count on the careers page alone, as for Cyera. All six now count, and every total on this page includes them. We re-read the six careers pages on 2026-10-10 and counted the four boards with two separate programs, which agreed: 58, 67, 44 and 13 open jobs.
• Correction, 2026-10-12: the earlier versions of this page listed Checkout.com as not found. Its careers page links to its jobs page, which lists jobs on its Ashby board (checkout.com). The jobs page builds that list in the browser, so our 2026-10-09 read of the page, which doesn’t run its scripts, didn’t see the board. Checkout.com now counts, and every total on this page includes it. We re-read its careers and jobs pages on 2026-10-12, the jobs page in a browser, and counted the board with two separate programs, which agreed: 160 open jobs.
• Counts drift: open jobs change daily, and companies switch ATS. These figures are a snapshot from 2026-10-09, from 2026-10-10 for the six companies corrected then, and from 2026-10-12 for Checkout.com.
• SmartRecruiters, 2026-10-13: Canva’s SmartRecruiters board and its 127 open jobs were read on 2026-10-09 from SmartRecruiters’ public jobs API. On 2026-10-13 we found that the API’s robots.txt asks automated tools not to read it, and we stopped reading it: our tools now recognise SmartRecruiters links but don’t read them. Canva’s figure stays as dated, and no total on this page changes. A refresh would count Canva like the Comeet companies: from its careers page only, with no job count.

Check your own list

For one company, the free ATS checker shows its ATS, board and open jobs in your browser. For a whole account list, Company Jobs finds each company’s board and returns its open roles (up to 1,000 per company by default), with title, department, location and posted date. Read how to find which ATS a company uses to do it by hand.

To read a board’s jobs from code, see the Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby jobs APIs, with each public endpoint and its fields. For the 5 companies on Workday, see how to find a company’s Workday site and read its jobs.
