Siftsmith columns in Clay

Add hiring velocity, tech stack, a buyer-intent score or a DMARC grade to every row of a Clay table. Clay's built-in Run Apify Actor action runs a Siftsmith tool for each row and brings the result back as a column.

You pay Apify per result, with no subscription. Rows with nothing found are free.

Which tool for which column

Hiring SignalsInput companies (name or domain). Columns such as openJobs, postedLast30d, hiringScore. $0.05 per company with open jobs.
Tech EnricherInput domains. Columns such as technologies, emailProvider, dnsProvider. $0.02 per profiled domain.
Buyer Intent SignalsInput companies. A 0–100 buyerIntentScore from hiring plus missing tech. $0.06 per company with an open job board.
Email Security SignalsInput domains. Columns such as grade, score, bulkSenderCompliant. $0.02 per graded domain.

How to add hiring velocity to a Clay table

  1. In your Clay table, add an enrichment, search Apify, and choose Run Apify Actor.
  2. Connect your Apify account with your Apify API token (Apify Console → Settings → API & Integrations).
  3. Pick toolfoundry/hiring-signals and enter the input as JSON, with the row's company or domain column inside the list: {"companies": [<Domain column>]} (quotes around the key, none around the inserted column). Clay's Apify integration guide shows how to insert a column into the JSON.
  4. Run the column. Each row's result comes back into Clay, where you can split fields such as openJobs and hiringScore into their own columns.

The steps are the same for the other tools. Use domains instead of companies for Tech Enricher and Email Security Signals.

What does it cost in Clay?

Apify bills your Apify account per result, at the prices above, with no per-run start fee. Clay counts the action on its side but uses no Clay data credits when you bring your own Apify account. Rows where nothing is found are free, so a column over 1,000 companies where 400 have open job boards costs $20 with Hiring Signals.
